Part-time Documentation/Tutorial Freelancer

Acrobotic is an Open-Source electronics company dedicated to designing fun and easy-to-use hardware and software for education, DIY, hobby, arts, science, and more! Our products and kits allow anyone to collect and visualize data, as well as interact with the physical world.

We need someone to help us exhibit and document, through demos and tutorials, the products we design. Whereas the main requirement for the job is the ability to write detailed yet succinct explanations, any photography experience is a big plus. An ideal candidate should be able to reproduce our image standards at her/his location, although our in-house graphic designer can also assist in making the images that will accompany the text.

The documentation is aimed to an audience that varies in skills and age, so the writing should will vary slightly depending on the complexity of the product or project. Our in-house engineer will be available for guidance both in the technical and the writing side of each project.

Preferably, we are looking for someone with:
- Excellent writing skills (English)
- High level of attention to detail
- Basic familiarity with Arduino and Hardware Electronics

This position allows for the work to be done remotely (U.S.-based candidates are preferred), part time, asynchronously. We will mail the necessary products and parts, which can be kept (free of charge) for further tinkering.
