
Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Load, run, unload CNC equipment
Inspect parts in accordance with dimensional specifications
Install, set up, and uninstall tools and fixtures
Load and unload programs into the tool controller
Carefully comply with all established company processes and procedures
Diligently follow all company safety protocols
Inspect, organize, and clean work areas and machinery
Attend and actively participate in training classes and safety sessions
Perform basic machine maintenance
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED
Advanced education or experience in machining is a plus
Basic math skills
Reading and comprehension of formal correspondence, emails, texts, and notes
Drafting of concisely written and comprehensible emails, texts, and notes
Effective presentation of information in one-on-one and small group situations
Solid understanding of units of weight, volume, and distance
Ability to carry out single or multi-step instructions
Basic personal computer skills
Sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced education
CNC machine operation (1 year or more)
Manufacturing (1 year or more)
Prior experience working with HW, firmware, CAD, CAM, or 3D technologies
Experience in fabrication lab or warehouse
