Need custom circuitpython code for RP2040 to set/get port bit fields.
Previous code for existing project conversion of C++ for TI-MSP430
to CPy for RP2040. Previous MSP430 C++ code can be supplied, however
MSP430 registers will not apply to the RP2040 and new modules must
either set RP2040 registers or justify using defaults.

Otherwise the module should stand alone and run on RP2040 using circuitpython.
May make use of CPy lib. About 200 lines of code max.
Dependencies (previous includes) can be stubbed and well defined.
