I've prototyped lighting accessories designed to work with typical WS2812-style light strips, flexible matrixes, and pixel LED modules. At first, these can be produced as a separate stand-alone products and sold as fixtures/housing separately or as part of a bundle. Ideally in a second phase the LEDs, a controller, and power supply would be built and sold as a single product. The materials are primarily silicon, aluminum, acrylic, styrene, steel wire and various adhesives.
I'm looking for an engineer with relevant experience designing lighting products to help plan and prepare for small scale manufacturing. Specifically the list includes: answering general safety and compliance questions; materials selection; possibly redesigning non-electronic parts and/or electronic housing; CAD and technical documentation; and comprehensive product safety review, especially as it relates to regulations for US, State of CA, and Amazon.
Glad to share more information. Fully flexible regarding location and working hours. Thanks for reading!
