Description
An Assembler will be responsible for manual component assembly, material kitting, equipment operation, preparing kits for assembly, standard work creation, continuous improvement projects.
•  Follow the standardized work instructions while performing the job
•  Abide by the lab's protocols and material handling procedures
•  Comply with the safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
•  Complete tasks within standard times with minimal to no supervision
•  Identify opportunities for process improvement
•  Maintain a clean and orderly work area
•  Other duties as assigned
The essential functions of this role include:
Assemble complex electronic and electro-mechanical subassemblies and instruments
Assemble (solder) printed circuit board assemblies
Assist in PCB component inventory ordering and management
Identify and submit ways to improve processes
Ensure the production area is kept clean and organized.
